Wonderful ambiance and delicious breakfast
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy decor and warm staff who made us feel at home. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delightful selection of dishes, including a fantastic Cumbrian breakfast and plenty of choices for varied dietary needs. I'd love to see improved room heating controls for a more comfortable atmosphere during colder nights.

Our room was cozy and super clean, which was such a nice surprise! It felt so homey, not like a typical hotel room at all. The bed and chairs were really comfortable, and we could hear birds in the morning and owls at night. Just loved the atmosphere!

I was thrilled to find out I'd been upgraded from a standard double to a suite with a gorgeous four-poster bed and a relaxing jacuzzi bath! After enjoying a lovely breakfast with plenty of choices, I took some time to unwind in the spa and the sauna. The only downside was that the room got a bit hot during the day since the fans were small, but overall, I really loved my stay! 😊

The signature restaurant's four-course menu was a delightful experience.
